Volunteer

Would you like to contribute to Music Meeting? You might be just what we need! On this page you can find information on the variety of volunteer jobs.

All volunteers work a four hour shift per day during the festival, unless stated otherwise. We will provide coffee, tea, sandwiches and catering vouchers. You will be rewarded with a Day Pass for that day!

Environment Team

You make sure the festival grounds are cleaned in the morning and keep the terrace tidy during peak hours.

Logistic Support

You help preparing and cleaning the Apollo, collaborate with security and support logistics surrounding bicycle parking.

Chauffeurs

A lot of people and goods need to be transported before, during and after the festival. You own your driver’s license for a number of years, are experienced in driving vans, don’t mind working outside of office hours, you are flexible and know your way around Nijmegen. The number and length of shifts and the volunteer reward are not fixed.

Friends Team

During the festival you spread the word of our newest campaign ‘Join the Music Meeting Friendship’. Your social skills are excellent, you are cheerful and not scared to approach the audience. You share your Music Meeting enthusiasm and inform people about our Friendship.

Promotion Team

A month before the festival you’ll distribute flyers and posters in Nijmegen or other cities. You’ll make sure our posters are visible in your designated town. The number and length of shifts and the volunteer reward are not fixed.

Construction Team

You’ll work on constructing the festivalarea for two or three days, before or after Music Meeting. You need to be DIY minded, be a team player and be able to tackle physical demanding work. For this reason the Construction Team will receive a small compensation.

Backstage Catering

You’ll serve food & drinks in the artist restaurant and look after a nice atmosphere backstage.

Sales Team

If you are on the Sales Team, your responsibility is the ticket box. You will sell tickets, scan e-tickets, manage the guest and press lists and provide wristbands. You have experience in the sales department, are responsible and reliable.

Info Team

The Info Team is stationed at the Information Stand of the festival. You have a lot of knowledge concerning Music Meeting and are hospitable, cheerful and patient. You will be answering questions from audience, press and artists or will refer them. Merchandise is also sold at the Information Stand.

Mini Meeting

The Mini Meeting is a special area designated for children, were lots of activities are planned, such as workshops. You’ll oversee the children’s activities and are creative, problem solving and like working with children responsibly.
